The Department of Social Work wishes to recognize outstanding leadership by students. While all of our students show a dedication to the profession, recognition as a Social Work Ambassador is significant as a demonstration of your ability to articulate to others what it means to be a social worker and a student at TCU.
Students whose resume displays the logo below are part of a select group of full-time Social Work students at TCU who are involved in departmental and University activities. Their involvement represents a commitment which greatly exceeds expectations of the profession of Social Work and TCU as a University.
Senior Ambassadors are Senior year students who have been selected to help direct the growth of the Department of Social Work at TCU which includes mentoring other students, recruitment, and University education about the profession. Junior Ambassadors are junior year students who serve as representatives for a variety of departmental activities.
